Adele: 25 and still amazing

Well she came from chasing pavements, rolling in the deep and now she saying “Hello” to the other side. Adele’s latest record breaking album just can’t seem to take a break from being the internets and UK’s most talked about albums. We do recall she did get like Six Grammys (Was it only six) from her last album, 21 and went on to get an Oscar for her Sky Fall ‘Bond Movie’ soundtrack.  Now here she is at 25 and I must say, well we in for more Grammys from her, with this one. Adele calls it a consolation album, but c’mon, if you’ve heard the album, well it’s much more and the usual Adele ‘touchy emotion’ still stands. And of course, she did just beat N Sync’s record of most albums sold in a week, so you know what that means.
The discography of songs from Adele’s “25” Album below should give you a clue of what to expect, when you listen to the album.

01.  Hello
02.  Send my love (to your new love)

03.  I miss you
04.  When  were young
05.  Remedy
06.  Water under the bridge
07.  River lea
08.  Love in the dark
09.  Million years ago
10.   All I ask
11.   Sweetest devotion

To put some humour on to it, even a family guy episode puts in a joke about the album. Brian Griffin reads one of Stewie’s twitter posts “I think we should listen to Adele’s ex-boyfriend’s songs before choosing sides”.  That’s got to tell you about just how intense 25 is, so check it out.

Spectre; Just how Spectacular is the new 007 Movie

Seen the latest Bond Movie yet? Well if you haven’t, then you’re in for some spoilers, but that shouldn’t hold you back from eventually watching it. The new 007 Movie “Spectre” well on average, was a little bit disappointing (and I watched it in IMAX by the way) Why? Well main reason being I expected more or rather a bit too much from 007. Looking back at Skyfall, of which Spectre is actually a continuation well am sure a bond fanatic would agree with me that Skyfall was more action packed and the story line, just full of surprises. Now I understand why even the former Bond star, Brosnan was skeptical with the new 007 movie.

First things first, the one we always anticipate in an action movie, the ‘villain’ who in this case was played by the one and only Christoph Waltz (I must say they really didn’t use his role to the fullest); the villain was not as intriguing as the one from Skyfall, and he rather got beat too easily if I may put it that way. Bautista’s role however was a killer one and he actually lightened up the movie for me very much especially that car chase, felt like I was watching Fast 8 for a moment.
In overall the movie was alright, but not too impressive so I will give it a 6.5 rating average. As for the cinematography and visual effects, well that lived up to the 007 movies standards, so it’s a 8.5, humour well it was alright, a 7 will do.
Catch me again when we review the next hot movie. #EntertainmentZone24/7
